It was a quiet night at Two Chefs. Got to chat with the Judge and his wife Ann, but otherwise just read the Times and Post, and finished my newest book, The Heartland: An American History.
Dinner tonight was their so-called “classic” Caesar salad with sourdough crouton and Swiss cheese. Despite the misnomer it’s a good salad. Tuna steak with spätzle and pesto. Bittersweet chocolate souffle with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a triple espresso con leche.
